Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1420224A1] Gun barrel comprises a barrel (2) which is mounted in a first slide bush bearing (5) at the mouth-side end and in a second slide bush bearing at the base part-side end of a mounting barrel (3). The first slide bush bearing has a tube bushing (7) fixed to the barrel and supported in a form-locking manner on the inner wall of the mounting barrel via at least three segmented support bars (14) uniformly distributed along the periphery. The tube bushing has between each adjacent support bar segmented outer recesses (16) and on its inner wall opposite the support bars segmented inner recesses (19) so that the tube bushing is elastically deformed on widening the barrel in such a way that the regions of the tube bushing lying on the barrel are curved outward in the outer recesses and the regions of the barrel not lying on the inner wall of the tube bushing can drift into the inner recesses.
