[origin: WO03016024A1] The invention relates to a displacement pump which is intended, in particular, for rubber mixtures. The inventive pump comprises boost means which drive the material towards a housing (11). Said housing opens into an outlet port (17) and contains two counter-rotating screws (24, 34) which engage with one another by means of the respective helicoidal threads thereof. The axial length of the intermeshing area of said screws (24, 34) is greater than or equal to the sum of the pitch of the threads and the pitch multiplied by the number of threads on each screw multiplied by 2.
