[origin: WO03018992A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), especially an injection valve for fuel injection devices of internal combustion engines. Said fuel injection valve comprises a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator (2) and a coupler (19) having a master piston (14) and a slave piston (16) which are connected to a pressure chamber (32). Said pressure chamber (32) is filled with a hydraulic fluid, and a coupler spring (18) pushes the master piston (14) and the slave piston (16) away from each other. The pressure chamber (32) is connected to an actuator chamber (3,5) by means of a return valve (24), the blocking direction of said return valve being oriented towards the pressure chamber (32). The actuator chamber (3,5) is sealed in relation to a combustion chamber (30) by a mobile membrane (29).
