[origin: EP1422008A1] The hand tool has a machine housing (10) containing an air-cooled electric motor for driving a tool, e.g. a rotary saw blade (14) and fitted with a main handgrip (11) and a secondary handgrip (21), for double-handed guidance of the hand tool. The secondary handgrip is hollow and acts as an air exit channel for the air from the air-cooled electric motor.
