Abstract (en)
A dust removal installation comprises an elctrostatically charged band (16), which collects dusts as it moves continuously around the area. The dust is removed from the band by first discharging (23) it and then passing it under suction hoods (26, 27). IT is then charged again (21) and recirculated. The band runs over non-conducting guide rollers (17), one of which is driven (20). The roller (17b) near the charging electrode is conducting and can act as charging element. Several bands running in different planes in a circular path can be used near the yarn feeders of a circular knitting machine. On a flat bed knitting machine the band takes a longitudinal instead of a circular path.
Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
