A papermaking assembly has a dewatering belt which passes through a cleaning station with an array of water jets. The jets are held together in a group which moves back and forth along a guide. Two or more of the jets describe an angle alpha with respect to each other. The jets impinge on the web surface at different angles of presentation. Water is pre-heated before delivery to the jets. The cleaning station is located within a spray booth or cabin with a supply of compressed air. The regular array of jets are arranged in lines which are transposed with respect to each other. One or more of the jets is a rotating unit. The array of jets is free to move over a width which is greater than that of the web. The jets are located within a compartment with a non-contact or low-contact seal.

Um Materialbahnen wie beispielsweise Transportbänder in Gestalt eines Filzes, eines Vlieses, eines Siebes oder eines gewebten oder ungewebten Gebildes zu reinigen, schlägt die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen einer Materialbahn (6) mit Düsen (26) zum Erzeugen eines Flüssigkeitsstrahls vor, bei welcher die Düsen zu wenigstens einem Düsenverbund (37) zusammengefasst sind und der Düsenverbund in Richtung einer Rotationsachse (2A,3A,4A,5A) einer Materialbahnführung (2,3,4,5) verlagerbar angeordnet ist und wenigstens zwei Düsen in einem Winkel (α) zueinander angeordnet sind. Hierdurch treffen die aus den wenigstens zwei Düsen austretenden Flüssigkeitsstrahlen (13) mit verschiedenen Richtungen auf die Materialbahn. <IMAGE>
