[origin: EP1422372A1] The window or door has drive bolt fitment (22) with closing bolts (24, 26, 28, 30) which interact with associated closing plates on the fixed frame (14). The closing plates, scissor bearing unit (18) and corner bearing unit (16) each have means to ensure the casement frame (12) can move freely relative to the fixed frame in a direction perpendicular to the window plane. These means are guided through slide guides so that the casement frame can be brought into a fourth position of the drive bolt fitment into a parallel position where the closing bolts are then held in this position inside the slide guides. The slide guides have four function regions each associated with shift positions of the drive bolt fitment.
