Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1422374A2] The actuating device includes a drive mechanism driving a force transfer member which has two chains (7,8) connected together in the extended state. Individual chain links (11) of one chain (7) closer to the bearing of the window casement (2) are shorter in the extended state than the other chain (8). The bearing bolts of the chains are parallel to the bearing axis of the bearing of the casement. The bearing bolts of the chain closer to the casement bearing are guided in oblong holes.
