Abstract (en)
The pump (1) has chassis (5), stator (3), rotor (4), and a two- part housing (18,19). The first inner part is mainly cylindrical and surrounds the stator. It has a passage (28,35) for gases entering the pump. The second housing part has connection apertures (36,37), and a bore (22) to accommodate the first housing part with pump components. It also has a connection flange (39) on the side. The second housing part is a component of a device, which has a chamber to be evacuated.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Einrichtung (51) mit einem Gehäuse (55), in dem sich mindestens eine evakuierbare Kammer (52,53,54) befindet, sowie mit einer ein Gehäuse aufweisende Reibungsvakuumpumpe, welche mit der zu evakuierenden Kammer verbunden ist; um eine verbesserte Anschluss-Geometrie zwischen der Kammer (52,53,54) und der Reibungspumpe zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Gehäuse (55) der Einrichtung (51) eine Bohrung (22) aufweist, innerhalb der sich die Reibungsvakuumpumpe befindet. <IMAGE>
