[origin: EP1422790A1] The connector comprises a central core (100) and a metallic body (200). A two-part dielectric ring (300) fits between the core (100) and the cavity (206). One part is assembled with the core, and one with the sleeve, prior to final assembly of the complete connector. The connector comprises a central core (100) and a metallic body (200) forming a cavity (206) housing the core. The body includes a cable passage (212) receiving the coaxial cable (10). A dielectric ring (300) extends between the core (100) and the interior wall of the cavity (206) and comprises two distinct sleeves, embedded one within the other. It is thus possible to introduce, via the cable passage and from the cable side, a first assembly comprising the core (100) fitted into the interior sleeve and solidly attached to the cable, into the second assembly comprising the body (200) and the exterior sleeve (302).
