[origin: WO03020082A1] The invention relates to an item of seating and/or reclining furniture that comprises a furniture frame (1) that carries a padded seat or reclining area (5) covered with a furnishing fabric. On the back of said furniture frame a spring-loaded roller (8) is rotatably mounted on which a cover (9) is wound up which is linked with its free end with a bar (10) or the like so that it can be unwound from said roller (8) and laid across the seat or reclining area, thereby making it easy to apply the cover.
