[origin: WO03020088A1] The invention relates to a fruit press (1) comprising a centrally-arranged, projecting element (2), which tapers to the top, for the pressing of a fruit and an annular surface (3) surrounding the base of said element (2). The element (2) has ridges (9) on the outer surface thereof, running from the base of the element (2) upwards, between which trough-shaped recesses (10) are arranged. The ridges (9) and the recesses (10) are arranged in a helix.
