[origin: WO03023921A1] The invention relates to a switchgear cabinet comprising at least two horizontally extending frame profiles (9, 23) having a sealing edge and a fixing surface, and two lateral walls (1). Said lateral walls (1) respectively consist of a single-part sheet metal blank which forms a frame-type profiled edge (2, 3, 11, 22) on all four sides by means of multiple canting, said profiled edge being adapted to the frame profile (9, 23) and being provided with tracks of punched holes. The adjacent profiled edges (2, 3, 11, 22) end before the respective edge of the lateral wall, leaving open a receiving region for the fixing part (10, 24) of the frame profile (9, 23).
