[origin: EP1424137A2] Gluing device for a bottom-layering device for cross bottom bags comprises a glue reservoir (1) or a glue source, a dosing roller (2) in contact with the glue reservoir or source, a glue-application roller (3) which can be in contact with the glue reservoir or source, and a format roller (4) in contact with the glue-application roller and transferring glue (9) from this roller onto a bottom label or cross bottom. The dosing roller and/or the glue-application roller are at least sequentially brought into contact with the glue source and the glue reservoir. Preferred Features: The direction of rotation (C) of the dosing roller is reversible. At least the dosing roller has its own drive motor.
