Device (1) for producing a bound printed product (2) comprises a conveying device (3) with a bearing surface (4) formed from individual elements and angled toward the side and carriers (5) for pulsed transfer of print products to an intermediate conveyor located upstream of a binding path. The transfer region of the conveying device and the intermediate conveyor is formed by a pulsed-driven lateral support disk (8) having on its periphery at least one recess (14) assigned to the carriers. Preferred Features: The support disk has a flat surface arranged to the side of the bearing surface of the conveying device.

Zur Herstellung eines gebundenen Druckerzeugnisses (2) aus einem zum Heften mittels Heftklammern rittlings zugeführten Druckerzeugnis (2) ist eine aus einer Fördervorrichtung (3) mit einer aus Einzelelementen gebildete, zur Seite schräg abfallenden Auflage (4) und mit Mitnehmern (5) zur maschinentaktweisen Ueberführung der Druckerzeugnisse (2) an einen einer Heftstrecke vorgeschalteten Zwischenförderer (6) bestehende Einrichtung (1) vorgesehen, bei welcher der Uebergangsbereich von Fördervorrichtung (3) und Zwischenförderer (6) durch eine am Umfang eine den Mitnehmern (5) zugeordnete Ausnehmung (14) aufweisende, taktgebunden angetriebene seitliche Stützscheibe (8) ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
