Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1424446A1] The transfer system for a bituminous liquid from a storage tank (5) to one or more user components (6a, 6b) such as spray bars and a refill tank (7) consists of a pump with its body on a mounting plate fixed to an internal wall of the storage tank. The pump body has ports (11 - 18) that are opened and closed by control valves (21 - 27), each having a shutter (21a) that is moved in the pump body by a control element (21b) fixed to a mounting plate on the outside of the storage tank and made e.g. in the form of a pneumatic cylinder with its mobile component moving perpendicular to the mounting plate.
