Abstract (en)
Each of vehicles on a motorway is equipped with a short-range communication system for receiving and transmitting messages, an activation device for the messages, a display and an electronic processing and control device. The latter can forward received message, generate and forward the activated message during the activation process, and display the message as information to the driver. A satellite based positioning system is further provided within a single unit, which also enables calculation of toll charge (Electronic Toll Collection). Independent claims are also included for a method of automated communication and a computer program for performing processing and control functions.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein System und ein Verfahren zur automatisierten Kommunikation zwischen einer Vielzahl von Kraftfahrzeugen, bei dem in den teilnehmenden Kraftfahrzeugen vorhanden sind: ein Kommunikationsmittel zum Empfangen und Senden von Meldungen, Aktivierungsmittel zur Aktivierung einer Meldung, Anzeigemittel zur Ausgabe von Information, sowie, ein elektronisches Verarbeitungs- und Kontrollmittel; wobei das Verarbeitungs- und Kontrollmittel ein fortlaufendes Wiederaussenden einer vom Kommunikationsmittel empfangenen Meldung bewirkt, die Erzeugung und fortlaufende Versendung der aktivierten Meldung durch das Kommunikationsmittel während der Dauer der Aktivierung des Aktivierungsmittels bewirkt, und eine Ausgabe einer Meldung als Information durch das Anzeigemittel bewirkt. Erfindungsgemäß ist weiterhin ein Positionsbestimmungsmittel im Kraftfahrzeug vorgesehen, wobei das Positionsbestimmungsmittel, das Kommunikationsmittel und das Verarbeitungs- und Kontrollmittel von einer solchen Einheit umfasst sind, welche zumindest noch eine Bestimmung von Wegebenutzungsgebühren zulässt. <IMAGE>
