Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03022472A1] The invention relates to a rolling stock guiding device for a horizontal two-high rolling stand comprising a pair of rolls that can be inserted in the rolling stand and withdrawn therefrom while its bearing inserts (LS) rest on a carrier vehicle (TW). The rolling stand guiding elements (OFE, UFE) for the rest bar (WB) are disposed above and/or below the plane of movement of the strand of rolling stock passing through the rolling stand. Said guiding elements extend in parallel to the roll axis and can be vertically displaced and adjusted. The guiding elements (OFE; UFE) supporting the rest bar (WB) are linked with the free ends of a rest bar support pair (WT) which in turn is firmly linked with the bearing insert (LS) of the respective roll (WZ) and which projects therefrom in parallel to the direction of rolling.
