[origin: FR2829601A1] Method for securing an online or remote payment operation, whereby a client (3) has a personal identification code and an authorization code that is valid for a number of payment operations that are associated with one or more identification files, provided at the level of a centralized processor (8) before or during a purchase. The authorization code is transmitted via the network so that it can be used with the identification files in central processing units for updating an identification code with an associated authorization code, thus permitting funds transfer. The invention also relates to a corresponding security installation.
