Abstract (en)
Epoxy resins produced by reacting bisphenol A and/or bisphenol F with epichlorohydrin are used to coat glass. Independent claims are also included for: (a) coated glass fibers produced by contacting a composition comprising 1-98 weight % epoxy resin (as above), 1-98 weight % water-dilutable hardener and 1-98 wt.% water with the surface of the glass fibers and allowing the composition to harden; (b) composite material comprising the coated glass fibers.
