[origin: WO03028852A1] The invention relates to an air filter system, particularly for gas turbines, which has a nominal air throughput of at least 90,000 m3/h. The air filter system comprises a filter housing mounted on a stand (114), which is provided for absorbing or diverting the static and dynamic forces acting upon the filter housing (82, 110). The air filter system also comprises an air duct (116) via which the filter housing (110) is connected to an air consumer. In addition, the supporting structure of the filter housing (110) is formed by at least one frame module (10) having standardized dimensions. A force-absorbing supporting structure of the at least one frame module (10) is designed for absorbing the occurring static and dynamic forces a predeterminable loading event for a predeterminable filter housing (110).
