Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10146026C1] The invention relates to a handle fitting, in particular, for a motor vehicle door (10). The handle fitting comprises a supporting part (20) for attaching to the inside (14) of the door. The supporting part (20) accommodates a handle and a turret (30), which is provided with additional actuating means such as a lock cylinder and/or a push-button, or accommodates a turret decoy that does not contain any actuating means. The turret can be introduced from the outside (15) of the door through a door opening and through an opening in the supporting part (20), said opening being aligned with the door opening, and can be locked on the area (31) of the turret protruding from the inside (14) of the door via a slide (21) located on the supporting part (20), whereby the slide (21) can be transferred from the mounting position (18) into the locking position via a screw means (22). In order to improve handle fittings of this type, whereby the screw means (22), simultaneous to the function of transferring the slide (21) from the mounting position (18) into the locking position, also serves as a locking element, the locking end (24) thereof interacts, in the locking position of the screw means (22), with a locking location situated outside on the side (32) of the turret (30) or the turret decoy facing the screw means.
