Abstract (en)
The apparatus has a feeder (2) moving in a canon (3) between firing and fixing positions. Brake ball bearings (6) for the feeder and lever arms (7) are pivoted on a guide plug. The arms are arranged to modulate radial action of the ball bearings based on relative movement of the canon and feeder between a maximum force when the feeder advances the canon and a minimum force when the feeder backs up.

Dans l'appareil, un élément de fixation est entraîné dans un support sous l'action des gaz d'une charge explosive par une masselotte (2) mobile dans un canon, entre une position de tir et une position de fixation, et un guide-tampon (5) dans lequel est monté un mécanisme à billes (6) de freinage de masselotte, qui comporte des bras (7) montés pivotants sur le guide-tampon (5) et agencés pour moduler l'action radiale des billes (6), en fonction du déplacement relatif du canon et de la masselotte (2), entre une force maximale, quand la masselotte (2) avance dans le canon, et une force minimale non nulle, quand la masselotte (2) recule. <IMAGE>
