[origin: EP1428964A2] The device for releasably joining two flat elements (12) with cutouts (18) to one another is made up of connector and holder units (14, 16, 16') whose components are shaped and dimensioned so that in assembled state the device is flush with both faces of the flat elements. An Independent claim is also included for an application of the device for joining to flat elements to one another and/or to a wall.
