Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1429079A2] The cooking appliance has a timer switch (25), coupled to a manual cooking time selector (17) and supplying a signal to an associated electronic control (23) at the end of the selected cooking duration, for terminating the cooking process. A display device (9) displays a time interval which starts at the end of the cooking duration, e.g. in addition to the selected cooking duration. An Independent claim for a timer switch for a cooking appliance is also included.
