Abstract (en)
Device used for armor-plating comprises at least two layers of different materials of which at least one layer (1, 2) is made of steel. An intermediate layer (3) of wood is arranged between two layers of steel. Preferred Features: The intermediate layer is made of at least one hard wood, preferably at least partly of beech wood. The intermediate layer is made at least partly of glued wood or compacted wood. The plate layers have a thickness of about 5 mm. The intermediate layer has a thickness of about 20-30 mm.
