[origin: WO03028698A2] The invention relates to a method for producing granulates that comprise at least one pharmaceutical active substance according to which the powder to be granulated is introduced into an extruder. A granulated material is formed by adding granulating liquid and is compacted by transverse forces. A gas or a gas mixture can be optionally introduced into the compacted granulated material in order to render the granulated material porous.
