[origin: WO03024559A1] The invention concerns a method for thermal de-gassing of a steam system, in particular of a waste heat boiler (8). Preferably, said steam system comprises a steam collecting drum (21), an economizer mounted upstream (15) and at least an evaporator (22). The invention aims at providing an economical, efficient, and structurally simple de-gassing process. Therefor, water from at least a volume of water (37) is sucked, then mixed with the stream derived from a gas volume (36), and the resulting two-phase mixture flows into said water volume (37).
