[origin: WO03028870A1] The invention relates to a mixing or agitating device for liquid-filled containers comprised of a circulating device (1) provided with a propeller (2) mounted on a drive shaft. A lifting device lowers said circulating device (1) along a guide tube (8) onto a support, which is connected in a fixed manner to the bottom (7) of the container, holds the circulating device (1) and which absorbs the dynamic forces generated by the circulating device (1) while supporting the weight of the circulating device (1) itself. The aim of the invention is to create a mixing or agitating device of the aforementioned type whose circulating device is placed on a stable and simple support. To this end, the support (3) is supported by a metal structure, which is connected thereto in a fixed manner and joined to the container bottom (7) via at least three legs (4, 5, 6) that are independent of the guide tube (8). The legs (4, 5, 6) are arranged in such a manner that they are subjected to pressure and tension generated by the pushing effected by the circulating device (1). Projections (13) are placed on both sides of the housing of the circulating device (1) at the height of the central axis of the drive shaft. When the circulating device (1) is in operation, these projections are supported on opposing surfaces (14) located on the support (3).
