[origin: WO03030324A1] The invention relates to a switchgear cabinet having a rack which comprises at least four vertically extending rail profiles, which are arranged at each edge of said switchgear cabinet and at least one component which can be fixed thereto, such as a hinge, lock or the like. According to the present invention, said rack comprises an intermediate profile, having a series of holes substantially extending over the total length of the vertical rail profile. Said intermediate profile can be fixed between at least one outer surface of the vertical rail profile and said component.
