[origin: EP1431060A1] The invention relates to a method for the production of a self-adhesive coating, wherein (i) an unprinted coating layer is applied to one side of a detachable carrier material and (ii) an adhesive layer is applied to the unprinted coating layer or to the other side of the detachable carrier material. The invention also relates to a method for coating a substrate with the self-adhesive coating and to a method for printing an image on the substrate with the self-adhesive coating.
