[origin: EP1431473A1] An insulating plate for a building faade with two outer faces (A1) in a region of restriction of the insulation plate at a section (1,1a,1b,2,2a,2b) parallel along the whole extent of the restriction, which penetrates perpendicularly into the insulating plate to the outer faces (A1) (sic). An Independent claim is included for a process of fixing the insulation plate in which a region between the above section is adhesive bonded to the faade, while the remaining regions remain free.
