The device includes a suspension unit and guiding unit which are distinct, with suspension rollers (20,21) transversally fixed to the top of the window in its median zone along its axis of gravity, for circulating along a suspension rail (24) fixed to the chassis (3). There is a guide unit (11) itself fixed to the window at a distant point, for circulating along a specific guide rail (15) to be fixed to the chassis (3) parallel to the suspension rail (24). The window is carried by suspension rollers along its gravity axis, with the useful length of the suspension rail being of the order of the size of the window.

Ce dispositif comporte des moyens de suspension et des moyens de guidage qui sont distincts. Des galets de suspension (20,21) sont transversalement fixés au sommet du vantail dans sa zone médiane suivant son axe de gravité, pour circuler le long d'un rail de suspension (24) fixé à un châssis (3). Un organe de guidage (11) est quant à lui fixé au vantail à au moins un point distant, pour circuler le long d'un rail de guidage (15) spécifique aménagé pour être fixé au châssis (3) parallèlement au rail de suspension (24). Le vantail étant porté par les galets de suspension (20,21) suivant son axe de gravité, la longueur utile du rail de suspension (24) est de l'ordre de la largeur d'un vantail. <IMAGE>
