[origin: EP1431492A1] A pre-fabricated automobile garage has a floor, roof, three sidewalls and a door (5) consisting of a series of hinged horizontal battens. The door opens by sliding upwards and translating into horizontal rails. Prior to installation of the assembled and prefabricated garage, the rearmost rail section and the rearmost horizontal battens are disconnected from the sidewalls, allowing them to hang downwards, providing access to the jacking points under the roof close to the centre of balance. Following correct positioning, of the garage, the rails and door are secured in their final positions.
