The shut-off device for a flue gas path (9) in a flue gas system of a fireplace has for a shut-off element (3) a reversibly temperature dependently working auxiliary actuating device which has at least one temperature sensitive auxiliary actuating element (7) installed in the flue gas path or close to it. The auxiliary actuating element is set so that with an increase in its temperature in a defined temperature range an especially continuously or discontinuously increasing force opposing the closing force is exerted on the shut-off element. The temperature sensitive auxiliary actuating device may be a bimetal element, and the shut-off element a butterfly valve.

Die erfindung betrifft eine Absperrvorrichtung für einen Abgasweg (9) in einer Abgasanlage einer Feuerstätte, wobei die Abgasanlage eine in Brennbetriebsphasen der Feuerstätte aktive Gebläseeinrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Überdrucks in dem Abgasweg (9) aufweist und die Absperrvorrichtung ein Absperrelement (3) umfasst, das zwischen einer den Abgasweg (9) sperrenden Schließstellung und einer den Abgasweg (9) zumindest teilweise freigebenden Öffnungsstellung verstellbar gelagert - und durch Beaufschlagung mit dem Überdruck aus der Schließstellung heraus in Richtung Öffnungsstellung gegen eine Schließkraft verstellbar ist. Die Absperrvorrichtung ist gekennzeichnet durch eine reversibel temperaturabhängig wirksame Hilfsstelleinrichtung für das Absperrelement (3), wobei die Hilfsstelleinrichtung wenigstens ein temperaturempfindliches, im Abgasweg (9) oder nahe am Abgasweg (9) angeordnetes Hilfsstellelement (7) für das Absperrelement (3) aufweist und wobei das Hilfsstellelement (7) dazu eingerichtet ist, bei Erhöhung seiner Temperatur in einem bestimmten Temperaturbereich eine der Schließkraft insbesondere kontinuierlich oder sprunghaft zunehmend entgegenwirkende Kraft auf das Absperrelement (3) auszuüben. <IMAGE> <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
