[origin: EP1431672A2] Domestic food warmer or similar device comprises a housing receiving a drawer having a base and a front wall with a first opening. A sliding device (34) with a handle (30) made in one piece and arranged on the front wall engages with a guide device (31) in a guide on the front wall and is used to close the first opening in an air-tight manner. Preferred Features: The sliding device is a plastic component. The guide is a longitudinal groove or slot forming the first opening and the guide device is a protrusion.
