The actuator motor must be configured in such a way that the torque of said actuator motor is sufficient in each position of the throttle body. The inventive actuator has a transmission ratio, which alters over the displacement path between the actuator motor (20) and the wheel (12b) that is connected to the throttle body in a rotationally fixed manner. The advantage of said actuator is that the increased torque, which is required in specific positions of the throttle body (6), can be delivered by an actuator motor (20) that supplies a relatively weak torque. The actuator is particularly suitable for internal combustion engines in motor vehicles.
