Abstract (en)
The packaging component (10) is made from a cardboard panel folded to form wedge with a base (12), sides (13, 14) and sloping inner surfaces (15, 16) forming a central lengthwise recess for the edge of a windscreen (1). The two inner surfaces are joined by inserting a tongue (17) on one in a slot (18) in the other set at a distance from the adjacent fold line equivalent to the section with the tongue. After fitting the wedges the screen can be enclosed in plastic film.
