The system has a fuel feed line, an excess fuel return line, at least one fuel pressure pump, an intermediate fuel tank for holding sufficient fuel for the pump and a sucking jet pump with a nozzle arrangement for supplying the intermediate tank with fuel. The fuel feed line has at least one opening into the tank before the nozzle arrangement has so that only some of the returned fuel flows through the sucking jet pump to the intermediate tank. The system (1) has a fuel feed line (10) from a fuel tank (2) to an engine (14) or fuel injection system, an excess fuel return line (16), at least one fuel pressure pump (12), an intermediate fuel tank (6) for holding sufficient fuel for the pump and a sucking jet pump with a nozzle arrangement for supplying the intermediate tank with fuel. The fuel feed line has at least one opening (28) into the tank before the nozzle arrangement has so that only some of the returned fuel flows through the sucking jet pump to the intermediate tank. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a sucking jet pump, especially for an inventive system.

Die vorliegende Erfindung schlägt erstmals ein Kraftstoffversorgungssystem 1 für die Zufuhr von Kraftstoff 4 vom Kraftstofftank 2 zum Kraftfahrzeugmotor 14 vor, bei dem mittels einer Saugstrahlpumpe unter Zuhilfenahme des zurückgeführten, überschüssigen Kraftstoffs frischer Kraftstoff 4 aus dem Kraftstofftank 2 in ein Kraftstoffzwischenspeicher 6 gefördert wird und wobei mittels einer einer Venturidüse 30 einer Saugstrahlpumpe vorgelagerten Öffnung 28 der zurückgeführte Kraftstoffteilstrom 17 in zwei Teilströme 20 bzw. 22 aufgeteilt wird, von denen der eine Kraftstoffteilstrom 22 der Venturidüse 30 der Saugstrahlpumpe zugeführt wird, und von denen der andere Kraftstoffteilstrom 20 durch die Öffnung 28 in den Kraftstofftank 2 derart zurückgeleitet wird, dass mittels dessen kinetischer Energie eine Verwirbelung des im Kraftstofftank 2 befindlichen Kraftstoffs 4 zur Durchmischung mit dem rückgeführten Kraftstoff 20 erzwingbar wird. Ferner schlägt die vorliegende Erfindung erstmals eine hierfür geeignete Saugstrahlpumpe vor und gibt ein hierfür geeignetes Verfahren zur Zufuhr von Kraftstoff an. <IMAGE>
