The fuel injection valve has a valve body (1) with a resting surface (50) pressed against another resting surface (55) by a clamping nut (7). The valve body contains a blind boring (10) from the resting surface, ontaining fluel under high pressure. There is an annular groove (42) in the blind boring at a spacing from the resting surface.

Kraftstoffeinspritzventil für Brennkraftmaschinen mit einem Ventilkörper (1), der mit einer Anlagefläche (50) an einer Anlagefläche (55) eines weiteren Bauteils (3) des Kraftstoffeinspritzventils anliegt und durch eine Vorrichtung (7) gegen das weitere Bauteil (3) gepresst wird. Im Ventilkörper (1) ist eine Sackbohrung (10) ausgebildet, welche von der Anlagefläche (50) des Ventilkörpers (1) ausgeht und in welcher zumindest zeitweise Kraftstoff unter hohem Druck anliegt, wobei die Anlagefläche (50) des Ventilkörpers (1) um die Öffnung der Sackbohrung (10) in der Anlagefläche (50) als Dichtfläche ausgebildet ist. In der Sackbohrung (10) des Ventilkörpers (1) ist in einem Abstand zur Anlagefläche (50) eine Ringnut (42) ausgebildet. <IMAGE>
