Abstract (en)
The watch has a support extending partially opposite to an opening (15). Two cover locking units extend toward interior of a cylindrical annular portion of the cover (20) and are caught on shoulders of the support. The units are arranged towards the inside of the portion. The shoulders are inside the portion when the cover is secured to the case. Gripping unit is arranged on a peripheral portion (45) of the cover.

Dans une montre électronique contenant une batterie électrique de grande taille, notamment une batterie comprenant plusieurs piles ou accumulateurs (41, 42), le diamètre d'un couvercle amovible (20) obturant une grande ouverture inférieure du fond (14) de la boîte de montre est limité par le fait que le couvercle est pourvu d'un dispositif de fixation à baïonnette ayant des verrous (56) dirigés radialement vers l'intérieur. Ces verrous s'accrochent à un support fixe (22) ayant un ou plusieurs logements pour la batterie. Ils sont disposés au sommet d'une partie annulaire sensiblement cylindrique (50) du couvercle. Une garniture d'étanchéité (52) est placée autour de cette partie annulaire et comprimée radialement contre une surface cylindrique (16) du pourtour de l'ouverture du fond, ce qui garantit l'étanchéité même si la fixation à baïonnette n'est pas serrée à fond. Selon une variante, le couvercle peut constituer tout le fond de la boîte. <IMAGE>
