[origin: EP1434244A1] The device has a fixed inner part (3) with a front surface (4) and a hand control (2) mounted so as to rotate about the inner part. The front surface of the fixed inner part contains several actuating elements (5) for press actuators. The hand control is additionally formed as an actuating element for a press actuator. The front surface of the fixed inner part can contain at least ten actuating elements for press actuators in the form of numeral blocks. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a motor vehicle component with an inventive operating element.
