Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03030665A1] A flow of tobacco (12) is introduced into the upper region of a distributor for the particularly mechanical pre-treatment of tobacco fibres and particularly into a tobacco chamber (13). Within the above, a sieve roller (14) is mounted such as to rotate. The above serves as transport body for the introduced tobacco, whereby specially formed carriers form tobacco clumps. A vacuum exists in the tobacco chamber (13) generated through the interior of the sieve roller.
