Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1435637A2] The unit has a high-voltage halogen incandescent lamp (1) with a lamp vessel (10) having a sealed-off end. An outer bulb is fixed on the lamp and surrounds the vessel. The sealed-off end of the lamp vessel is provided in the form of a glass base (11) that protrudes from the bulb through an aperture. The bulb rests on the vessel and has inwardly pointing webs (212, 222) supported in the vessel.
