[origin: WO03035975A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a shoe press cover or a pressure roller covering for the paper, cellulose, tissue, printing or textile industry, whereby said press cover or pressure roller covering contains polyurethane. According to said method, polyurethane rubber is mixed in rubber processing plants. Strips are processed by extrusion and applied on said shoe press or pressure roller. Alternatively, the polyurethane rubber is processed into a calendered shape and applied as calendered plates on said shoe press or pressure roller.
