[origin: WO03033968A1] The invention relates to a door device (10) comprising at least one door (12, 23) for opening and closing a thoroughfare (19), especially a thoroughfare leading to sales areas. The door is movably mounted on a door holder (11). The door device also comprises a blower (14) for producing an air veil (20) in front of the thoroughfare of the door. According to the invention, the inside of the door holder (11) is provided with a recess (13) with an air outlet (15) disposed on the side of the door. The recess and elongate outlet substantially extend along the full height of the doors. The recess (13) includes an air outlet (16) on the side facing away from the door. The air veil (20) discharged from the air outlet (15) acts as a shield for the thoroughfare (14).
