[origin: EP1437070A1] Water bed comprises two adjacent water cores (5, 6) separated by an elastic separating wedge (10) or another elastic flexible separating element and covered preferably by a bed covering (1) on the upper side. The upward-facing longitudinal edge of the separating element is fixed via a connecting element to an adjacent element of the water bed. Preferred Features: The connecting element between the separating element and the bed covering is a zip fastener or another releasable connecting device. The bed covering consists of two covering strips joined by a zip fastener (4) along the middle line above the separating element. The bed covering is a soft quilted gauze.
