[origin: EP1437473A1] A handle (11) has a baseplate (16) fastened to the edge of a glass door (15) remote from the vertical swiveling axis. The swiveling and sliding doors are held on top and bottom fixed frame members. The handle on the swiveling door has an oval-shaped handgrip (17). A through bore (12) in the handgrip accommodates a wire (10) which is deflected and tensioned as the handgrip is turned. It may pull spring-loaded bolts at top and bottom out of engagement with the fixed frame.
