The open fire operating device comprises the open fire (3) itself with a smoke outlet (7), and also a chimney (1) connected to the smoke outlet to carry the smoke away. The open fire is integrated into the chimney, which has a cavity (2) made in it for this purpose. This cavity may include cladding (4) passing at least part of the way round the open fire.

Einrichtung zum Betrieb einer Feuerstätte für den häuslichen Bereich, umfassend mindestens eine Feuerstätte (3) mit Mitteln für den Rauchabzug (7) sowie weiterhin umfassend einen Schornstein (1 ), der strömungstechnisch mit Mitteln für den Rauchabzug verbunden ist und bei Betrieb der Feuerstätte (3) den Rauch abführen kann, wobei die Feuerstätte (3) in den Schornstein (1) integriert ist. <IMAGE>
