Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2831269A1] Mounting a large sized sensor functioning at high temperature in a sealed manner in a wall passage, the sensor (10) being a micro-machined sensor incorporating a platelet (22) provided with electrical connection studs (18), consists of linking the sensor with the end of a temperature resistant cable (30). The cable incorporates several electrical conductors (36) sunk in an insulator (34) retained in a sleeve (32). The sleeve passes into the wall passage. The electric conductors pass beyond the end of the sleeve and are welded directly onto the contact studs of the platelet. The sleeve is mounted in an airtight manner in the wall passage. An Independent claim is also included for an assembly of a large sized sensor and a connection cable used to mount such a sensor in a wall passage.
